Established in 1950, Mr. Chef Food Venture / Sahu Caterers managed by the Mr. Naresh Bandwal, Former Chef at hotel Oberoi Udaivilas.We are the 4th Generation working in this field and giving services from last many years to Hindustan Zinc, Secure Meters, PI Industries, HRH Group, CPS School and Royal Family of Udaipur.

We have caterered 15000 pax in Ex-MLA DaliChand Ji Dangi’s Son Wedding. Our well known shop “LALA MISTHAN” is running from last 150 Years. We run a Multi Cuisine Angeera Restaurant. We mostly do Bulk Catering ODC.

About Owner

Mr. Naresh Bandwal, a successful former chef at Hotel Oberoi Udaivilas, wanted to go for abroad studies but things were planned different for him by destiny. As a kid, he used to see the working style and working environment of the grandfather and father and got a great interest in this Food Industry. With above 12+ years of experience, he had hosted 1500+ Events till now under his supervision including weddings of the celebrities which happen in Udaipur.

Mr. Naresh Bandwal takes good care of hygience points and have improvised many things in his family business to give new direction to the Family Business. From training the staff to how to serve the food and how to garnish the food which increases the food looks with the taste it has. Also, he works to prepare healthy food which have high nutritional value and thus incorporate healthy snacks and food items in his list and update from time to time.

In short, Mr. Naresh Bandwal is a person who likes to prepare new food items with best taste and new incorporation. He is greatly inspired by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and have also worked with him.

The Legacy

We have Expert Staff which are good in preparing Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, Taar Pini, Jakolma Puri etc. We have made a great place in the Heart of Residents of Udaipur & Tourists by the name of “Lala Misthan Bhandar” and we have maintained that place by opening “Sahu Caterers” in the year 1950.

Before 1950, people used to prepare for arrangements of any events on their own, and we used to be called for the Food Preparation. Things changed gradually and people started to believe in our services and they started to give whole contract of catering to us and we respectfully accepted their decision and proved them to be right by giving the desired best services. We have this unique approach of having the same staff which have some special quality of preparing some special dishes with great taste and we always keep them permanent so the taste is same whenever people taste our food. We have 300-400 Staff now and many of them are working with us from quite a long time. Our Staff is expert in preparing Dudh ki Mithai, Ghee ki Mithai etc.
